Update order status

Overview

Order statuses are typically updated automatically during planning and delivery execution.

However, there may be cases where a manual update is needed, for example:

  • A driver selected the wrong status

  • An order was not updated correctly

  • A correction is required after delivery

You can update order status either from the Order details page or directly from Search.

How to update status from Order details

  1. Navigate to Search.

  2. Open the order you want to update.

  3. Click the action menu (⋮).

  4. Select Update status.

  5. Choose the new status.

  6. Confirm the update.

The order status will be updated immediately.

How to update status from Search

  1. Navigate to Search.

  2. Perform a search to find the relevant orders.

  3. Select one or multiple orders.

  4. Click Actions in the top navigation.

  5. Select Update status.

  6. Choose the new status.

  7. Confirm the update.

The selected orders will be updated in bulk.

Important notes

  • You can freely change between statuses

  • It is possible to skip statuses (e.g. from On the way directly to Delivered)

  • It is not possible to set an order to:

    • New (only assigned at creation)

    • Planned (must be assigned through routing)

  • Changes are applied immediately across the platform

Update order status from 'Order details'

  1. Find the order that you want to update and go to the Order Details page.

  2. Click on the Actions button () and select 'Update Status'

  3. In the 'Actions' menu, select 'Update Status'

  4. In the modal that is shown, select the new status.

  5. The order will be instantly updated to the new status. If the status has an active SMS event, a text message will be sent to the customer.
