New: Account settings facelift 🎨

Navigating Last Mile should be an easy and intuitive experience for our users. Earlier this year, we introduced a new look and feel to the Search module in Last Mile. Now the time has come for Account Settings to go through the same visual transformation.

The facelift applies to the following sections:

  • Users

  • Delivery Groups

  • Drivers

  • Depots

  • Order Switches

  • Webhooks

  • API Credentials

  • Order Imports

It might seem overwhelming at first glance, but there’s no need to worry. We haven’t made any changes to the functionality, so you’ll still be able to access everything in the same place you’ve used to.

Example: Besides the airy look and feel, we’ve also added distinct labels on each card. You’re able to edit and/or delete users by clicking on the meatball menu (the three dots) in the upper right corner.

New: Hello Intercom 💬

We’re also pleased to introduce Intercom as a communication tool in the platform. This gives us a fantastic opportunity to inform our users about changes in the platform as well as give insights on how to utilize Last Mile in the best possible way.

We’ve already started to create articles to help navigate, including release notes like this. Whether you want to add a new driver or set up an API integration, our brand new Help Center is your best friend. You can access our articles through the Messenger icon (it’s fully searchable) or by heading to help.gordondelivery.com.

Other fixes and improvements ✨

  • Automated caching has been introduced to the Search module. This means that the filterable options will load instantly, creating a smooth user experience.

  • Speaking of the Search module, we’ve also moved the “Phone” field. Instead of being hidden under “Advanced Search”, you can now access it right at the top.

  • You can now set a Depot-specific Service Time under “Accounts” and “Depots”. This will be added as default when routing in Planning. You can of course update the Service Time as needed before routing a new batch.
