Before you can get out on the road and deliver packages, you obviously need to prepare your route.

This is visualised at the beginning of the timeline before you reach the step called ‘Start route’. Let’s have a look at what you need to do beforehand.

Register vehicle

Every driver is prompted to add the registration number of the vehicle he or she is driving. This is to ensure full traceability for the support team overlooking delivery operations. Simply tap the step ‘Register vehicle’. Submit the registration number of your vehicle and you’re all set. Make sure you’re adding the correct number, as we don’t have verification available.

Scan and load

Start by tapping the ‘Load vehicle’ button. All items on the route are now presented in a list. You can choose to sort by stops or by producer. It’s also possible to filter and, for example, only show the remaining items.

  • Scan with camera. Your camera is automatically activated when using this feature. You can easily point it towards the label in order to scan the package. The item will be marked as scanned and you can move on to the next package.

  • Scan manually. If you can’t find a label on the package, there’s also an option to scan manually. Simply find the right item and tap the checkbox next to it, and it will be marked as scanned.

Missing items

You might notice that a few items are missing. Don’t worry! Make sure to scan the other items and then go back to the timeline by tapping the arrow in the top left corner.

Tap ‘Missing X items’ and you’ll have to confirm that you want to start the route anyway.

Start your route

Once all items have been taken care of, either scanned or marked as missing, you’re able to start the route.

Tap the ‘Start route’ button and you’ll see a message explaining that once the route has been started, text messages will be sent to customers on this route. Click ‘Confirm and continue'.
