When creating a new user you set access permissions based on three roles: Read, Write, or Admin. Depending on what role the user has been assigned, they can perform different tasks.

Access permissions are also granted to three different objects: Account, Delivery Group, and Depot.

Note: A user can have Admin access to an account while simultaneously having limited access to Delivery Groups and Depots.

Create a new user in the platform

  1. Navigate to 'Account' in the main menu and select 'Users'. Press the 'Create user' button which will open a modal to invite the user.

  2. Enter the email address.

  3. Set access permission to the Account and select what additional modules you'd like the user to have access to. Most users only need access to 'Activity'. Press 'Next'.

  4. Assign permission for delivery groups. You can set different permissions for each depot. You can also assign full access, allowing the user to access all current and future delivery groups in the platform.

  5. Assign permission for depots. You can set different permissions for each depot. You can also assign full access, allowing the user to access all current and future depots in the platform.

  6. When your done, press 'Send invite'. An email will be send to the email address provided in the first step.

Note: When using Gordon's delivery services, depots are maintained by Gordon and not shown in the list (exceptions can apply. Users will see all orders that they access to through the delivery groups.
