Update a route directly from activity or route details

Sometimes you need to make changes to a route. In this article, we'll take a closer look at some of the most common actions do perform when managing routes. Learn how to manually update the status of a route and set new timestamps.

🚦 Update route status

There are two different ways you can update the status of a specific route:

  1. From Activity

  2. From Route details

1. Update route status from 'Activity'

  1. Navigate to 'Activity' in the left-side menu.

  2. Locate and press on the route you wish to update. Click on the name of the route.

  3. Press the pencil icon next to the driver's name in the top menu.

  4. Choose a status from the dropdown menu.

  5. Press 'Update route' and the route has been updated with a new status.

2. From route status from 'Route details'

  1. Navigate to 'Activity' in the left-side menu.

  2. Locate and press on the route you wish to update.

  3. Press the pencil icon next to the driver's name.

  4. Choose a status from the dropdown menu.

  5. Press 'Update route' and the route has been updated with a new status.

πŸ•’ Update timestamps

Sometimes the platform fails to add a timestamp correctly on a route status. However, you can easily go in and update the timestamp manually in order to have accurate data.

  1. Follow the steps above to open the popup modal.

  2. Locate the status you'd like to update and enter the time in the text field in the 'Actual' row.

  3. Press 'Update route' and the route has been updated with a new actual time.
