  1. Log in to WordPress Admin. Navigate to 'Plugins' and 'Add New' in the left-side menu.

  2. Click 'Upload Plugin' and then browse to the plugin file on your computer. Click on 'OK' and finally the 'Install Now' button.

  3. Activate the plugin.

General Settings

First, we need to configure your general settings. Click on 'WooCommerce' and 'Settings' in the left-side menu. Navigate to 'Gordon Delivery' in the settings view and you'll be presented with a few options.

  • License Key - Enter the license key that you receive when purchasing the plugin from Redlight Media.

  • Deactivate this license - If you check this box, the license will be deactivated for this domain and you'll not receive any further updates to the plugin.

  • Client ID - Enter the Client ID that can be found in your Last Mile account.

  • Client Secret - Enter the Client Secret that can be found in your Last Mile account.

  • Book Shipment on status - This allows you to select a WooCommerce order status when you want to automatically book a shipment.

  • Package Content Text - Set a text that is displayed on the label. Usually a general description of the goods of your company/brand name.

  • Gordon Parcels - Decide how parcels are generated. This is also reflected in the number of labels you'll retrieve. If you want one label for the entire order, choose 'One parcel for entire order'.

  • Add customer note to Gordon Shipment - Checking this box will add a customer note (from the checkout) to the order created in Gordon.

  • Test mode - Shipments are booked in our Test environment. You need a separate Client ID and Client Secret when this feature is activated.

  • Enable debug log - This logs actions that are sent to Gordon. Logs are found via 'WooCommerce', 'Status', and 'Logs'.

Shipping Method Settings

  1. Click on 'WooCommerce' and 'Settings' in the left-side menu. After that, go to 'Shipping' and 'Shipping zones'.

  2. Click on the zone you want to edit. You can also create a new zone, of course.

  3. Now, you need to create a Gordon-specific shipping method. Click on 'Add shipping method' and save it.

  4. Click on 'Edit' and update the general settings.

  5. Under 'Gordon Delivery Options' you see a few settings. Add the connection to Gordon and enter the name of the Delivery Group that the orders should be connected to. If no Delivery Group is set, they will automatically be added to the default Delivery Group.

Additional features

  • Use multiple Delivery Groups - If you have more than one delivery group in Gordon and want to use the plugin to book shipment to both of them.
