In this article, you will learn about the account settings that you can configure for your Last Mile account.

Find account settings

To find the account settings of your account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on ‘Account’ in the left-hand menu

  2. Navigate to the Settings page in the top menu.

In the first section of the Settings page, you’ll find the account settings.

Customise account settings

To update your settings, change the ones you want to modify and click the ‘Save settings’ button when you are done. Below is a list of descriptions of the general account settings.

SMS sender

This is the name that will appear to the end customer as the sender of the SMS.

Time estimation margin

The time estimation margin is the time that will be added before and after the estimated delivery time of an order. It is used to provide a delivery time estimate on the tracking page for the end customer.

For example, if an order has the planned delivery time 15:00, and the time estimation margin is 45 minutes, the estimated delivery time will be between 14:15 and 15:45.

Country code

If the user forgets to add the country code at the start of their phone number, the specified country code here will be automatically added to their phone number.

Default language

The default language will be the language of the tracking page. Users can decide to change the language on the tracking page.

Timezone

Here you specify the time zone where the orders will be delivered.

Driver support telephone

The driver support telephone is the number the drivers can call if they need assistance. The number will be displayed for the drivers in Gordon Driver.

Default delivery option

This will be the preselected delivery option for the end customers. The recipient can change the preference on the tracking page.

Label size

The label size is the size (in pixels) of the label available for printing.

Customer support URL

Here you provide a link to your company’s customer support page or FAQ. This link will be accessible to the end customer on the tracking page.
