Sometimes you need to make changes to an order.
In this article, we'll take a closer look at how to manually update the order status and how to add a comment to the order.
How to update the order status
The status of an order could be updated in two ways:
From the search view (bulk option available)
From the order details view
Update order status from 'Search'
Navigate to 'Search' in the left-side menu. Use the date picker, search fields and filters to find the order(s) that needs to be updated.
The result will be shown in the list to the right.
Select all or some of the orders by ticking the checkboxes.
In the 'Actions' menu, select 'Update Status'
In the modal that is shown, select the new status.
All of the selected orders will be instantly updated to the new status. If the status has an active SMS event, a text message will be sent to the customer
Update order status from 'Order details'
Find the order that you want to update and go to the Order Details page.
Click on the Actions button (

) and select 'Update Status'In the 'Actions' menu, select 'Update Status'
In the modal that is shown, select the new status.
The order will be instantly updated to the new status. If the status has an active SMS event, a text message will be sent to the customer.
Add a comment on an order
Comments are a great way to document information about an order/customer that can be useful for your colleagues and/or for future reference. Here's how you do it:
Find the order you want to comment on. You can do this either via 'Search' or by looking it up in 'Activity'.
Click on the name of the order to get into the order details view.
Click on the Actions button (

) and select 'Add comment'A modal will open with an input field where you can type your comment.
Click on 'Add' to save.
