  • Hardware considerations

Overview

Gordon Cloud is a cloud-based solution, meaning no software installation is required for a majority of the applications. Operational users access the platform directly through a web browser.

Typical users include planners, dispatchers, operations managers, warehouse staff, customer service teams, and administrators.

Supported Devices

The web-based platform can be accessed from desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.

For operational work, such as route planning and monitoring a large number or routes, a desktop or laptop is recommended.

For warehouse tasks such as scanning and loading, a mobile is recommended.

Supported Browsers

Use the latest version of one of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)

  • Microsoft Edge

  • Safari

  • Firefox

Older browser versions may cause reduced performance or display issues.

Internet Connection

Because Gordon is cloud-based, a stable internet connection is required.

Mobile applications

Drivers use the Driver App to carry out their deliveries. Read more about Driver App requirements here.

Best Practices

For the best experience:

  • Use modern browsers and keep them updated

  • Ensure stable internet connectivity

  • Use dedicated devices for operational planning
