Adding a comment on an order

Overview

Order comments allow you to document additional information, add context, and share notes about an order.

This can be useful for:

  • Communicating important details to colleagues

  • Documenting customer-specific information

  • Keeping a history of decisions or issues related to an order

Comments are stored in the order event log, making them available for future reference.

How to add a comment

  1. Find the order you want to comment on.

  2. Click the order name to open the Order details view.

  3. Click the action menu (โ‹ฎ).

  4. Select Add comment.

  5. Enter your comment in the input field.

  6. Click Add to save.

The comment will be added to the order.

Where to find comments

  • Comments are stored in the Order event log

  • Each comment includes:

    • Timestamp

    • User email address (who wrote comment)

This ensures full traceability and makes it easy to review past notes.

Editing and deleting comments

It is not possible to edit a comment once it has been added.

If a comment needs to be removed, you can delete it:

  1. Scroll to the Order event log in the order details view.

  2. Locate the comment you want to remove.

  3. Click the trash can icon next to the comment.

  4. Confirm the deletion.

The comment will be permanently removed from the event log.

Important notes

  • Comments are visible to other users in your organisation, not the customer

  • Use comments to provide clear and relevant information

  • Avoid including sensitive or unnecessary information
