Adding or removing items on an order

Overview

You can update the items on an order if the contents of a delivery change.

This includes:

  • Adding new items

  • Editing existing items

  • Removing items

Keeping item information accurate ensures correct handling, planning, and execution of deliveries.

How to add an item

  1. Navigate to Search.

  2. Open the order you want to update.

  3. Click the action menu (⋮).

  4. Select Edit order.

  5. Scroll to the Items section.

  6. Click Add item.

  7. Enter the required item details (such as name, quantity, service type, and item type).

  8. Click Save.

The new item will be added to the order.

How to edit an item

  1. Navigate to Search.

  2. Open the order.

  3. Click the action menu (⋮).

  4. Select Edit order.

  5. Scroll to the Items section.

  6. Expand the item using the chevron icon.

  7. Click Edit item.

  8. Update the item details.

  9. Click Save.

The item will be updated.

How to remove an item

  1. Navigate to Search.

  2. Open the order.

  3. Click the action menu (⋮).

  4. Select Edit order.

  5. Scroll to the Items section.

  6. Expand the item using the chevron icon.

  7. Click Delete item.

  8. Confirm the removal.

The item will be removed from the order.

Important notes

  • Ensure item details are accurate to support planning and handling requirements

  • Removing items may affect capacity planning and delivery execution

  • Changes should be made before load scanning has started
