How to edit an existing order

Overview

Editing an order allows you to update delivery details, customer information, or item data after the order has been created.

This is useful when:

  • Delivery details change

  • Customer information needs to be corrected

  • Items need to be updated

How to edit an order

  1. Navigate to Search.

  2. Find and open the order you want to update.

  3. Click the action menu (โ‹ฎ).

  4. Select Edit order.

  5. Update the relevant fields.

  6. Click Save to apply your changes.

The order will be updated immediately.

What can be edited

You can update most parts of an order, including:

  • Customer details

  • Delivery date and time window

  • Delivery instructions and requirements

  • Items and quantities

Changes will be reflected in planning and delivery.

Alternative way to update an order

You can also update an order by uploading it via CSV or integration using the same external reference (external_ref). When the external reference matches an existing order, the system will update the order instead of creating a new one.

Important notes

  • Changes may affect route planning and delivery timing

  • Ensure all required fields remain valid after editing

  • Updates are applied immediately and visible across the platform
