Activity is the heart of Gordon Last Mile. A place where you can feel the pulse of the business and keep track of the routes in an easy, yet powerful, way.
For a long time, we've felt that the view was a bit cluttered and out of date. So we wanted to take it to the next level.
We aimed to create a sleek experience and modern interface that makes navigating Activity a delight. There's also plenty of new functionality that will simplify the daily work for traffic controllers and logistics coordinators.
Best of all? We're not done yet! We'll continue to work hard and improve the experience, both with in terms of new functionality and improved processes.
New functionality ✨
🗂️ Tabs
Previously, we've received feedback that there are a lot of completed (or upcoming) routes that don't need the immediate attention. By introducing tabs, users can easily switch between upcoming, active, and completed routes. This provides a slimmed down view and less clutter, giving users quick access to the information they need at the time they need it.
🔍 Filters
Stay organised with filters, allowing you to streamline your view and focus on data and routes that matters most to you. With new Activity, we've worked a lot with page speed and enabled the following filters:
Depot
Delivery Group
Route Status
Route Requirements
There's also a search bar that lets users search for specific routes. It's currently possible to search for the route name or the driver name.
⚠️ Deviations
Identify deviations in your routes. Take swift actions and maintain control over your deliveries with enhanced handling capabilities. Our new deviation filters highlight and notifies when a route is at-risk.
Take immediate action or snooze the deviation for 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
Note: Deviations is still in development and will be released later in Q1.

Unfortunately no. Maintaining two versions at the same time is very time-consuming We've tested new Activity for 6 months internally and have also X open Beta for 2 months.
I can't find the route information that I want
I can't find the route information that I want
We've tried to keep the same information and data as before. However, some information has been moved. Since we split up the view in different tabs, all information is not displayed at every time. For example, in 'Planned' you see distance and weight, in 'In Progress' you see temperature and progress, and in 'Completed' we show recipient ratings.

New Activity is very much a work in progress for the coming months. We're looking to add even more functionality and are excited to hear your experience using the tool.
