Before you can get started with your first route, you need to configure your account in our app.
Download the app
Start by downloading our app ‘Gordon Driver’ to your phone. The app is available on App Store and Google Play, depending on your phone’s operating system.
Download and install the app before moving to the login page.
Log in
Enter your phone number in order to receive an authorization code. This code acts as your one-off password. You’ll remain logged in until you manually log out. Every login requires a new code. Please note: You need to be added as an active driver in our Last Mile Platform in order to log in.
New driver?
As a new driver, you’ll receive a text message with instructions and a direct link to the download page. Simple as that!
Enabling permissions
You also need to enable permissions on your phone. This is necessary so that the app can get access to your phone’s features.
Bluetooth - So that we can connect with your vehicle's temperature sensors and send notifications if the temperature gets too low or too high. Only used when on an active route.
Camera - In order to scan barcodes on packages and take images of packages when delivered outside. Camera access is limited to scanning and taking pictures of deliveries only.
Location - Select ‘While using app’ to enable customers to track your current location and estimated time of arrival. It will also enable the operations team to provide you with delivery assistance.
Set map preference
You can use any navigation app you’d like when using our app. We currently have direct integrations with the following:
Google Maps
Apple Maps
Waze
Click on the menu icon in the top right corner and select ‘Map preferences”. Here you can select your default navigation app, meaning that the directions to the next stop will automatically be opened in the selected app.
Change language
Gordon Driver comes in multiple languages. You can easily switch to your preferred language by clicking on the flag icon on the login page or under language settings in the menu.
That’s it - you’re now ready to start using the app.
