Gordon allows you to send text messages and trigger SMS events directly from the platform.

In this article, we'll have a quick walkthrough of the different events that are available, at what point they are triggered and from where.

Last Mile

The order has been created in the platform. SMS will be sent out 30 minutes after it's been imported.

Planned *

Last Mile

The order that's been planned and confirmed on a route.

On the way *

Last Mile
Driver App

The order is on a route that has been started by the driver.

Nearby *

Last Mile
Driver App

The order is approx. 30 minutes away from the customer.

Cancelled

Last Mile

The order has been cancelled in Last Mile.

Customer cancelled

Last Mile

The order has been cancelled in Last Mile upon customer request.

Not on route

Last Mile
Driver App

The order was not scanned or found on the route when loading.

Missing from producer

Last Mile

The order has not been received from the producer or sent from the packing area.

Wrong depot

Last Mile

The order has arrived at the wrong depot and can't be delivered on the intended route.

Damaged goods

Last Mile

The order was damaged and not in good enough condition to be delivered.

Unable to deliver

Last Mile
Driver App

The driver can't deliver the order to the customer.

Too late to deliver

Last Mile

It's too late to deliver the order. This status is set in Last Mile and can refer to either too late

  1. In relation to the time window

  2. In the day or of the driver's shift

Partially delivered

Last Mile
Driver App

A part of the order (one or more parcels) was successfully delivered.

Delivered

Last Mile
Driver App

Successful in-person delivery of the entire order to the end customer.

Delivered outside

Last Mile
Driver App

Successful delivery, outside the door, of the entire order.

* These events are automatically triggered based on order status and driver location.

On the way or nearby?

We don’t want to spam end customers with text messages. If ‘On the way’ and ‘Nearby’ are close to one another, only ‘Nearby’ will be triggered. This is usually the case for stops early on the route, so make sure to have at least 'Nearby' activated, but preferably both.
